EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), often known as Tapping, is a simple yet highly effective self-help method designed to reduce emotional distress and restore balance. The technique involves gently tapping on specific acupuncture points on the hands, face, and body while bringing awareness to difficult or βstuckβ emotions such as fear, guilt, anger, or anxiety.
By combining focused attention with physical stimulation of these points, EFT helps calm the nervous system and release emotional blockages. Many people experience immediate shifts, often describing a sense of feeling lighter, more grounded, calmer, and able to breathe more freely.
In this workshop, Dr. Melissa Mahon introduces participants to the foundations of EFT and guides them through practical applications they can use in everyday life. EFT can be a powerful tool for managing stress in the moment, while also serving as a deeper therapeutic approach to address underlying emotional patterns and create lasting change.
